This picture was taken by our new pal Hugo on our trip back from Tariquia to Tarija. Go to my site on Flickr to see pics of Tariquia. After hiking 8 hours (and waiting, for various things, at least 4 hours) that day in the hot jungle, we had another 4 hours in the back of a pickup trip to make it back home. The ride was bumpy, dusty, cold, and long. We were hungry, thirsty, sore, and exhausted. Our hairs got mussed up a lot. But, the sky was clear, the moon was full, and the stars were beautiful. So it was all worth it (in my opinion. i speak for nobody else).
